What we use

Very little. There are no advertising cookies and no analytics trackers on this site.

Strictly necessary

Sign-in session. Signing in sets one cookie that keeps you signed in and proves each request is really you. It expires when the session ends or after 30 days of not being used. Without it you cannot stay signed in, so there is nothing to consent to.

Stored on your device, not sent to us

Part-finished sign-up. If you start the join form and stop halfway, what you typed is kept in your own browser's local storage so the form can pick up where you left off. It never leaves your device and we never see it. Clearing your browser data removes it.

Third parties

Map tiles. The directory map is drawn with OpenStreetMap tiles. Loading it means your browser talks to that service directly, and it will see your IP address as any website request would. It does not set advertising cookies through this site.

Fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts. Same position: your browser requests the font files directly.

WhatsApp. Following a group invite takes you to WhatsApp, which is Meta's service and covered by Meta's own policies.

Managing cookies

Any browser will let you block or delete cookies for a site. If you block the sign-in cookie you will not be able to stay signed in, but the public directory, the map and the region pages all work perfectly well without it.
